Air Fryer Brownies {For Two}
It all starts with my homemade brownie mix for this air fryer brownie recipe. I halved the ingredients to fill a 6-inch round cake pan and cooked it in the air fryer! Yes, an air fryer is more than just for french fries, chicken nuggets, and shrimp (although I have been using mine a lot for those foods as well). So, give this easy dessert a try!
Air Fryer Brownies Ingredients
With just a few simple ingredients, you can have this dessert made and ready to serve in less than half an hour! It’s a great treat for yourself or to split and share with a friend.
Cocoa Powder: Use a high-quality cocoa powder for the best results.
Butter: Melt the butter and let it cool before adding it to the mix.
Egg: Make sure the egg you use is at room temperature.
How to Make Air Fryer Brownies
It really is so simple to make this dessert, you will make this more than once! To make the brownies, first, preheat the air fryer and spray a 6-inch round cake pan with nonstick cooking spray. Next, in a large bowl, whisk together the sugar, cocoa powder, flour, and salt.
Then, pour in the melted butter, egg, and vanilla. Whisk all the ingredients together until smooth. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and cook the brownies in the air fryer for 15 minutes. The brownies are done when a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few dry crumbs, but no wet batter.
Remove the brownies from the air fryer, cut into two halves, and serve with your favorite topping (s). I love it with chocolate ice cream; it would also be delicious with homemade whipped topping. You could also add a few chocolate chips to the mix for even more chocolate!
