Lemon Vodka Prosecco
You will not even realize that you are drinking alcohol (which could be dangerous) when you are sipping on this refreshing drink. It is definitely a drink that is perfect for many occasions. It is a bubbly cocktail for ringing in the new year. It’s also an ice-cold drink to enjoy on a hot summer day.
Lemon Vodka Prosecco Ingredients
There are only three ingredients in this recipe–vodka, Prosecco, and lemon sorbet.
Vodka: Choose your favorite brand of vodka for this drink. I prefer it to be chilled before adding it to the glass.
Prosecco: Prosecco is a sparkling white wine made from Glera grapes. You could substitute champagne in the drink, but champagne is made from different grapes.
Lemon Sorbet: Sorbet is a frozen dessert that is made from fruit and sugar–no dairy. Lemon sorbet has a tartness that is perfect when added to the drink. It also keeps your drink nice and cold. You could also try some other sorbet flavors.
How to Make Lemon Vodka Prosecco
It doesn’t take a lot of work to mix this drink together. In fact, it’s as easy to make as it is to drink. To get started, whisk the vodka and Prosecco together in a bowl. To a champagne flute, add a scoop of lemon sorbet. Pour the vodka and Prosecco mixture over the sorbet. Garnish with fresh lemon and serve immediately.
If you would like a family-friendly (non-alcoholic) version of the drink, leave out the vodka and replace the Prosecco. For the Prosecco, there are many varieties of non-alcoholic sparkling white wines to choose from. Pour it over the lemon sorbet and sip away!
