Snickers Cocktail Ingredients

There are four types of alcohol in this cocktail, each that helps bring all the flavors of a Snickers bar to life, as well as the chocolate syrup and heavy cream.

Vanilla Vodka: You could also use caramel vodka if you have that on hand.

Irish Cream Liqueur: This is an alcoholic beverage made with cream, cocoa, and Irish whiskey (Baileys is a popular brand). It is delicious on its own, over ice, in coffee, and of course, in this drink.

White Chocolate Liqueur: This is a creamy white chocolate and cream, with a touch of vanilla, alcoholic beverage.

Amaretto: Amaretto is an almond-flavored sweet Italian liqueur.

Heavy Cream: Look for heavy cream, also known as heavy whipping cream, that is between 36-40% fat.

Chocolate SyrupDrizzle the chocolate syrup inside the lowball glass to give you the chocolate part of the Snickers bar. If you don’t have any on hand, make your own homemade chocolate syrup. Adding some caramel syrup to the glass would also be delicious!

How to Make Snickers Cocktail

Once you have the vodka and liqueurs on hand, it’s easy to put this Snickers cocktail together. First, drizzle the chocolate syrup inside a lowball glass. Transfer the glass to the freezer as you prepare the drink. To a shaker filled with crushed ice, add the vanilla vodka, Irish cream, white chocolate liqueur, amaretto, and heavy cream. Shake well.

When ready, remove the glass from the freezer, add crushed ice to the glass, and pour the contents of the shaker into the glass. Serve cold. Add a skewer with pieces of a Snickers bar to add to the presentation (and the sweetness)!

Can I make this Cocktail without a Shaker?

Yes! Don’t miss out on this Snickers Cocktail just because you don’t have a cocktail shaker…yet?. A great alternative would be to use a to-go coffee mug with a solid lid. Fill the mug up with ice, just like in a shaker, add all the ingredients, cover the opening mouth part, and get shakin’! When you are ready to pour the contents into the glass, just open up the mouth opening and pour. The lid should hold the ice back so you just get the chilled cocktail.
