The winner will take home $10,000 in cash, be featured in Bake from Scratch magazine, and have a personal baking workshop with the star of Cake Boss, pastry chef Buddy Valastro. Competing bakers will also vie for recognition from Sophie Faldo, season 8 winner of The Great British Baking Show, and she’ll choose one delectable creation to be shared in Bake from Scratch as “Sophie’s Pick.”
The icing on the cake? The competition supports the Andrew McDonough B+ (Be Positive) Foundation, which aids families across the country who are dealing with childhood cancer. This sweet endeavor is operated by Colossal as a fundraiser on behalf of DTCare, a nationally registered 501(c)(3) charity.
