When a fluffernutter craving struck a few weeks ago, I decided to try something new. Instead of making a sandwich, I grabbed a jar of marshmallow fluff, some peanut butter and a handful of other ingredients and blended them into a sweet, creamy concoction.
I knew right away this Fluffernutter Dip was going to be good, because anything that combines peanut butter and marshmallow fluff is bound to be tasty. But when I tasted this dip for the first time, my eyes nearly popped out of my head.
That’s how delicious this easy peanut butter dip is!
Here are a few more reasons why you NEED this Fluffernutter Dip in your life:
- It’s quick and easy to make. Ready in 15 minutes max.
- No chilling or wait time required, unlike lots of no bake desserts.
- You only need 4 ingredients!
- This is a crowd pleasing dessert that’s FUN to eat!
Serve it with some cookies, graham crackers and fruit for dipping and snack away!
What do I need to make this delicious dip?
These are the ingredients I used to make my Fluffernutter Dip.
- Creamy Peanut Butter – Crunchy would work too.
- Marshmallow fluff – or marshmallow creme
- 8 oz Cream Cheese
- Vanilla Extract
- Cool Whip – or use my homemade Stabilized Whipped Cream instead.
You’ll also want to have plenty of delicious dippers on hand for serving the dip. Apple slices, banana slices, wafer cookies, animal crackers and cubes of cake are all great choices.
How do I make Marshmallow Fruit Dip?
You’re going to LOVE how easy this recipe is!
- With a hand mixer, beat together the cream cheese and peanut butter.
- Fold in Cool Whip into the peanut butter mixture (or stabilized whipped cream).
- Gently fold in marshmallow cream.
Done!
Make sure not to over mix the fluff. You want swirls of marshmallow to stay visible so the dessert dip resembles a Fluffernutter Sandwich.
I used electric beaters to blend the cream cheese and peanut butter, then folded in the remaining ingredients by hand. Don’t have an electric mixer? Just use a heavy mixing spoon and plenty of elbow grease to make sure the cream cheese and peanut butter are well combined.
My family and I ate every last creamy, marshmallow-y bite of this dessert dip! One of us may have even licked the bowl. I’m not saying it was me, but. . . . Okay, yeah. It was me.
Once you taste Fluffernutter Dip for yourself, you’ll get understand. It’s just too good to resist!
